Bike Course Check Ironman France

The former mentioned bike course inspection was on the program today. The course keeps what it promises. On one hand, physically demanding ( about 1800 altitude difference with steep climbs, long descents), to the other an absolute astonishing landscape. I’m certainly NEVER cycled in such a magnificent setting. I absorbed and enjoyed every single kilometer of the 140km tour (ignored the “single loop” to Nice).

After 20km descent arrived – happy – at Col de L’Ecre

The conclusion of the story: Ironman France definitely belongs to the shortlist for my long distance debut in 2015 🙂
