08.05. – Let go

That’s how it is right now: The surgery on 21/4 as such went well; all the stones could be removed. As I had many in my system, the operation was very complex, and the post-op phase was hence somewhat tougher and set longer than “normal”, however, due to original medical prognosis the whole recovery takes an (unknown) extension. There is somewhere an error in the system. Length of recovery? 3 days, weeks, months? Nobody can say that for sure…

Therefore I will continue, as in the past 10 weeks, with situational loose training to stay fit. With a European and World championship I had big goals this year, but sometimes, a big step back is probably the more wise and long withstanding more sensible alternative as running behind any surreal hopes. Therefore, I let go and and cancelled any seasonal planing. Big goal for this year is, to get 100% healthy and to recover physically and mentally to full extend.

However, I am very delighted that I could take up my part as trainer at my local club – TuS Fürstenfeldbruck- again. I enjoy the work with the beginners and moderate runners.
