Grasp opportunities as they arise!

You think you have a lazy Saturday in front of you, preparing for a race and then suddenly a message on your Facebook messenger pops-up: “We have a swim-relay (3,8km) entry for Challenge Roth as somebody stepped out. Do you fancy?” Well, one just cannot deny such great offers!

After checking out a few things (race planning for that weekend as there is a sprint on Saturday, accommodation, trainingsplan, etc. etc.), I gave my OK and I am now very happy and feeling honored to be part in the 30-years anniversary at DATEV Challenge Roth which takes place on Sunday, 20.7.14.

In addition, this swim is a good positioning test for my first long distance race next year 🙂
